Meet Young Jit da Prince

Young Jit da Prince is a native from Atlanta, GA, a city known for raw talent. At a very early age, Young Jit possessed a passion for music and dancing. Today, Young Jit is an artist who creates, writes, and produces his own music. When asked about his career choice, he responds “Music is my anti-drug, it’s in me, and it’s who I am”. This southern, young, hip-hop prodigy grinds to take his rightful place in the music industry with a tenacious desire to succeed and a lyrical flow to capture your attention.  Young Jit received notoriety as a member of Cash Camp/CAMP 22 which started as a four-man group from Atlanta and their videos became instant YouTube hits, eventually becoming one of the most viewed videos on the internet with over 20 million viewers. Young Jit and his group members created the smash hit single “Crank Dat Yank”. “Crank Dat Yank” immediately hit the top 8 on Atlanta’s top radio stations, and top ten charting on YouTube and MySpace. This led Young Jit and his group members to sign with Sony/Epic Records. Young Jit has appeared on BET, MTV, MTV2, the Ozone Awards, the All-star Basketball game and in XXL Magazine, Source Magazine, and Unsigned Hype.  Young Jit has worked with artists Soulja Boy, Yung Berg, Sean Kingston, Lil Duval (Grand Hustle), Young Dro, Big Kuntry Kane, Yung Ralph, Diamond, and Shawty Lo.  Inspired by many of today’s elite artists citing TI, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, and Jay-Z; as well as hip hop icons such as Tupac and Biggie.  Chosen for a leading role in the movie, “Five Days in the A” he enjoys acting roles but music remains his focus. Young Jit is the CEO of Royal Grind 2.0 Records and fashion clothing line, “M.A.Z.I” an acronym that stands for Motivation, Ambition, Zeal, and Individuality which Young Jit believes is the rule of thumb for success.
