Meet Scorp Dezel

Born in Berkeley, raised in Colorado Springs, and currently based out of Atlanta, Scorp Dezel has been honing his craft since the age of 14. He has produced and worked with many noteworthy artists, such as Yung Joc (“I Know What She Like” “Yea Boy”), E-40 (“Dump Truck”), 2Chainz (“Pimp C Back”), Young Jeezy (“Go feat. YG and E-40“), Trouble (“Bussin”), Rocko (“Probably”), Young Scooter (“Shoutout To My Essay”), and many more. Scorp Dezel has made appearances on 106th & Park and Basketball Wives. His experience as part of the Colorado Cowboyz, instilled a love of multiple facets of the music process. Having achieved great success in the record producing business, driven by his desire to help new artists, and a renewed interest in writing, Scorp is now working on a project, with songs featuring Yung Joc, Bambi, J. Stalin, as well as other new artists. His rich history with music has made the transition between producer and artist seamless, so that while remaining a producer, Scorp can take his brand further, and be involved in the creative process from all angles, as some musical greats have done. He admires those who have mastered the Producer/Artist roles, legends such as Kanye West, DJ Quik, Dr. Dre, and Big Krit. His latest project’s anticipated release is June 2014, however, the first single off this project, “She Like It,” was recently released and is available on iTunes.
